The Pilates Chair is the ideal addition for advanced levels to experience a challenging Pilates class. The basic requirement for the exercises on the Chair is a relatively stable centre of the body. Which is why the chair is not used in beginner classes.
To maximize the effectiveness, challenge and safety of the exercises the Pilates teachers adjust the spring resistance on the chair to the individual level of the client. During the exercises, the instructors pay very close attention to mindful, precise and correct execution. Joint protection is always the focus of the Pilates equipment training.
