Get yourself
moving
Be honest, how much time do you spend each day in a sedentary, inactive position during the day?
We’ve all been there: when working at a desk, in the car, on the couch or on long journeys, you don’t move your body enough over a long period of time and become immobile and stiff as a result. You could say that you literally collapse and often suffer from aches and pains more quickly. Now is the time for change, get yourself and your body moving.
„Pilates can help you
to get back into
your true, young body”.
Give yourself time
and mindfulness
The first step is often leaving our comfort zones and breaking our routines. Get yourself and your body moving through regular variety and mindfulness in your everyday life. Start a new morning routine or set yourself one new idea per week that will give your fitness a positive boost. It’s often just the first step and the second is much easier.
Pilates can help you get back into your true, young body. The great thing about it is that it is a training method for people of all ages. The conscious exercises help you to improve your own body awareness, release tension and stiffness in your body and regain your natural flexibility. Pilates training opens you up and allows you to grow, as well as strengthening and stabilising you.
“Pilates is fun, versatile and physically demanding. This makes it one of the best workouts for me. For an all-round healthy body! I wish I had discovered it much earlier!” Franzi, (31)
Release yourself
from stress and
blockages
We all know that stress has a negative effect on the way our bodies feel. Tension, stiffness and tightness in your energy system gradually become noticeable.
Pilates exercises can also release emotional and physical blockages that are often stuck in the shoulder and neck area. After just a few sessions, many people report that Pilates makes them feel much looser, more flexible, stronger and more relaxed. To stay flexible, regular mobilising workouts and stretching exercises are also a good way to reduce stress and create a balance of relaxation in the body.
One particularly important aspect of mobilising the body is opening the chest. Stretching the chest area expands the heart. With a conscious breathing technique in Pilates training, you breathe more deeply and your body is better supplied with oxygen. It has an energising effect on your entire system and strengthens and mobilises your core muscles.
