What inspired you to found
REALZ together with
your sister?

Our highly popular Pilates Pop-Up Events in Berlin made way to our own modern studio. We want to make spring resistance based Pilates accessible for all people and raise awareness about its positive effects.

What is
your passion?

To combine my intuitive knowledge as an experienced Pilates teacher and RMT bodyworker with the techniques of the Pilates method. This results in bringing each body back to a healthy alignment with challenging, dynamic and precise classes.

What’s your realm
at REALZ Pilates?

I develop and create the overall studio concept, from digital appearance to interior design. My mission is to make our studio virtually accessible and visually tangible for our clients by using my conceptual and creative skills.

How did you
get into Pilates?

During my career as a dancer I already practiced Pilates regularly. It was a perfect addition and supported me to stay healthy and free of injuries.

I completed my Contemporary Pilates Training at Polestar Pilates in Italy. I have been teaching Pilates since 2015.

I pass on my knowledge in an intuitive way. By doing that, I want to support physical wellbeing.

How did you
get into Pilates?

Pilates has become a great passion and addiction for me, which I discovered many years ago when I was a professional dancer. Pilates helps my body to feel align and centered, which additionally strengthens my internal and deep muscles. I feel comfortable in any movement because of Pilates.

All my life, I have practiced Pilates on the reformer for myself. In 2022, I became certified as a Pilates teacher in London and have been teaching since then, in Berlin.

What is making your

unique?

My classes are very focused and calm. With my additional years of experience as a dancer, yoga and meditation practitioners I always try to bring my classes at REALZ to focus on body awareness, stretching and breathing. I am happy when participants feel stronger, more balanced and leave the studio with a big smile after each session.

How did you
get into Pilates?

As a dancer, I’ve experienced quite a lot of injury, muscle imbalance and pain. After years of searching for relief, I discovered the magic of pilates and never turned back. Pilates has truly changed my life, bringing my body back into balance and supporting me through my life as a dancer, mover and person.

I was trained in the STOTT Pilates Method – Matwork and Reformer – at the Merrithew Studio in Toronto, Canada. I have now been teaching for 2 years.

unique?

In Pilates, there is always room for improvement and further challenge. Our bodies feel different everyday and likewise, require different areas of focus and attention everyday. In my classes, I love to give a variety of options and a surplus of information that you can choose from. In this way, you can really take what you need from my direction and always leave class feeling refreshed, focused and balanced.

How did you
get into Pilates?

Pilates has accompanied my path as a ballet dancer from the beginning as a balance, strengthening and protection against injuries and has been an enrichment for my body and my mind for years.

I am a trained STOTT Pilates teacher for mat, reformer, chair and barrels and I was trained in 2023 by Deborah Degano at Berliner Pilates. I have been teaching Pilates regularly for almost a year.

unique?

During my classes I would like to create a safe and constructive space. I would like my clients to free their minds, forget for a while about their daily issues and fully focus on the here and now through breath work and movement. My classes at REALZ are about raising body awareness and deepen the connection with the body to generates a new positive energy for the rest of the day.

How did you
get into Pilates?

I started practicing the method as part of the classes routine when I was a dance student at high school and continued to practice to gain further strength as a professional dancer.

I completed my Pilates equipment training at Campus Siim at the sport club
in Tel Aviv university and teaching since 2020.

I always try to give an inspiring and fulfilling experience that would be equal to what I feel and gain from it when I practice. Also to really see the person I’m giving training to and to make it the most suitable for their capabilities.

How did you
get into Pilates?

I started taking Pilates back in 2008 when I had a back injury. As a professional classical dancer injuries have always been part of my life and with Pilates I managed to have a healthy and long career.

I studied and have been trained by Deborah Degano at Berliner Pilates and I have received my certification as a STOTT PILATES instructor in Matwork and Reformer. I’ve been teaching now for one year.

In my classes the clients will find a balance of strength and movement. I always try to connect with the clients in front of me and their needs. I believe in motivation and joy, my best wish is that the client disconnects from the everyday stress and worries so they can leave the studio happier than when they arrived.

get into Pilates?

I became interested in Pilates because I an a dancer and I wanted to work on strengthening and aligning my body in a way that would support the physical demands of the ballet world.

My classes combine strengthening exercises from the Pilates repertoire and moments to lengthen and stretch various muscles through fun transitions that will create a sense of flow from one exercise to the next.

How did you
get into Pilates?

I got into Pilates through my wife, who is also a certified Pilates trainer. Her subtle but precise approach to movement made me fall in love with Pilates the same way I fell in love with her.

I completed my Pilates Mat & Reformer training at Body Harmonics®. I feel extremely lucky to have gone through their in-depth anatomy focused educational program.

What is making your
classes at REALZ Pilates
unique?

I am very detail oriented and I always aim for a good balance of flow in my classes. I focus a lot on correct positioning, breathing and the right biomechanical alignment for the body in order to achieve maximum efficiency for each exercise. To encourage the clients, I like to bring their attention inwards towards the feeling of the movement rather than how it looks like from the outside. Through focusing internally people will gain a much deeper and holistic understanding of their own individual Pilates journey.

How did you
get into Pilates?

Movement has always been my passion. I danced a lot in my youth, jazz, modern dance and ballet, then I was drawn to flamenco. As I got older, the aches and pains came, I felt physically out of balance. Pilates made me stronger and made me aware of unfavorable movement patterns.

I completed my education at The Body In Balance Studio in Berlin. Since 2019 I have been teaching.

What is making your

unique?

What fascinates me about Pilates is the precise, controlled execution and a good dosage of energy within the flow of movement. My classes are based on concentration and attention to detail. From my own experience, I can say that it can really enrich your attitude to life when you can feel yourself slowly becoming stronger and more balanced. It is precisely this feeling that I would like to pass on to my clients.
